Kid Cudi- Just What I am

Kid Cudi- Just What I am

[Verse 1: King Chip]
I'm just what you made God - not many I trust
I'mma go my own way, God, take my fate to wherever you want
I'm out here, on my son, won't stop 'til I get me some
Club-hoppin', tryin' to get me some, bad bitches wanna get me sprung
Early in the morning,
I'm wakin' bakin', drinkin', contemplatin'
Ain't no such thing as Satan, evil is what you make it
Thank the Lord for that burning bush, that big body Benz I was born to push
On my way I'm burning kush, nigga don't be worried 'bout us
Neighbors knockin' on the door, asking can we turn it down
I say, "Ain't no music on" she said, "Naw, that weed is loud"

Nigga, we ballin', straight swaggin', lost Hawk, but I'm maintainin'
I've been told that I'm amazing,
make sure keep that fire blazin', we livin'

[Hook: Kid Cudi]
I need smoke
I need to smoke

Who gon' hold me down now
I wanna get high y'all
I wanna get high y'all
Need it need it to get by y'all

Can you get me high y'all?
I wanna get high y'all
I wanna get high y'all

Need it need it to get by y'all
Can you get me high y'all?

I'm just what you made God, just what you made God (Nee-need it)
I'm just what you made God, I'm just what you made
(Nee-need it) I'm just what you made God
I'm just what you made God, I'm just what you made God

[Verse 2: Kid Cudi]
Let me tell you ‘bout my month y'all, endless shopping, I had a ball
I had to ball for therapy, my shrink don’t think that helps at all
Whatever, that man ain’t wearing these leather pants
I diagnose my damn self, these damn pills ain’t working fam

In my spare time, punching walls, fucking up my hand
I know that shit sound super cray but if you had my life you’d understand
But, I can’t fold, some poor soul got it way worse
We’re all troubled, in a world of trouble

It’s scary to have a kid walk this Earth
I’m what you made God, fuck yes I’m so odd
Thinking 'bout all my old friends who weren’t my friends all along
Hm, when it rains it pours, whiskey bottles on the sinks and floors
Everyday to find sane’s a chore,
amidst a dream with no exit doors

[Hook]

[Outro]
Need it to get by, ya

A Huge Pay Cut for Doctors is hiding in the Fiscal- Cliff

In the beginning of the NPR the host starts out just introducing and explaining the topic right off back. Reading the first sentence and wanting to become a doctor, I want to truly read on. Then introducing everyone else is fairly well. Learning about the huge pay cut for doctors makes for many people to reconsider the field. However many future doctors don’t know about this cut, but do to the ObamaCare coming in the beginning of the year can result in the pay cut. Also it has a lot of information for people to truly understand what types of cuts are expected. Having professionals in the podcast enhances that more people will listen due to the fact of their level of profession. Facts are beneficial and keep the listeners listening. Due to the fact that most are influenced by this the fact of the NPR relates to the aspects of many things. The conclusion is great as well. Ending it off with a professional that knows their stuff. Numbers are big in this NPR, because they explain a formula that enhances the aspects of the cuts.

WP3 Rough Draft

Anthony Castruita, HOST:
A man goes to the hospital to visit his Chinese neighbor, who’s on life- support. When he comes near his bed, his neighbor screams something in Chinese, and then dies. A month later, the man goes to his neighbor’s funeral to hold a speech, saying “I still remember the last thing he said to me.” He then repeats his neighbor’s last words, and the neighbor’s family is in shocked. Confused, the man asks his neighbor’s widow what he just said and she replies: It means “You’re standing on my oxygen tube jerk!”
Just a little joke to set the mood, but enough of my jokes here is an excerpt from Noah Findley.
 (Sound Bit)
Anthony Castruita, HOST:
ASU Comedy is a group on campus that performs comedian acts to the student body/ visitors at the MU Stage. However the part of it we are going to focus on is the ASU Stand Up. ASU Stand Up is called Stand Up vs The World which was influenced by Jonathan Davis. The purpose of this group of students is to do what they love to do and that is stand up. They have a passion to make people laugh while also being themselves telling hilarious jokes. The comedy shows are free which a major plus for students looking to have a great time at little to no cost.
No matter what the occasion, going to one of these events will provide a night with a lot of laughter and excitement. Each comic performer has their own style with each provides a variety of different jokes and topics. Furthermore each has a different experience when it comes to life, even to school.  A sense of humor is a big thing when it comes to people. Having a sense of humor brings a good time to any type of activity. Coming to one of these events will provide a great hangout or if you’re having a bad week laughter can make up for a rough five days. SU vs TW is every Friday at 9:00 pm sharp at the MU stage. There are other events involving ASU Comedy on Fridays but SU vs TW is bar far a funnier type with just a stand up king of atmosphere.
Payum Sedahgat: Talks about the aspects of the show. How he feels about the show and any recommendations of the show.

Anthony Castruita: Many people are unfamiliar that ASU has a stand-up comedy type event going on at campus. Being a child from a father that is a comedian makes me want to find a way to laugh. Going to these events I seem to get out laughter easily adapting to the topics of the current college students jokes. I don’t usually laugh at anything, but I give everything a chance to make me laugh at certain things. For some inexpensive experience and some laughter, highly recommend coming to a show not only for support, but the experience. And if you think that you’re funnier than the comics on stage  they will call you on stage and see if you got what it takes. On that note I think that I will soon have to give that a try to see if everything works out if I want to pursue a comedy career.
(Sound Bit)- Jonathan Davis
Jonathan Davis: Talks about what made him start SU vs TW; what led him to comedy; how does he think comedy has evolved at ASU, SU vs TW compared to other shows, and how to join if interested.
Anthony Castruita: Thanks to everyone sharing their thoughts and opinions when it comes to ASU Comedy. As said before the show brings a lot of laughter and you can even join if interested. Need a night of laughter or even something to do come down to the MU stage every Friday at 9 pm and be a part of the hilarious stand up presented by the ASU Comedy club on campus. The importance of this show is to bring on the laughter in the student body of the Sun Devils. .

Podcast Idea Blog

ASU Comedy is sort of like a club/ event kind of thing. The interesting thing about this is that they are a group of college students just trying to do what they love, which is comedy and make people laugh. Also the shows are free and anybody can join if they have good comedy skills. What is different is that usually the crowd is only students, but some are outsiders. Being in the MU it provides a type of Improv atmosphere. What is somewhat cool is that most of the people are funnier than most. However whatever anyone’s sense of humor they will laugh at some point. Only thing unpleasant would have to be just some of the things people say, some of it can be over the top and some just a little unnecessary. The reason why this group matters is because everyone needs to laugh once in a while. The more a person smiles, laughs more the longer they live. No matter what someone is going through in a day, laughter can change the day into a great one.  Without the ASU Comedy club/ events I don’t know what most people would do to try to get a bunch of laughs for free.

Sources- Interview two comics, couple members of the audience. Look for reasons on why the come? What made them start doing comedy? What are their intentions? Would you recommend these events to anyone? Look at some websites for reviews.

To begin I probably will start off with a joke or maybe a snippet from a comic to just get the mood settled for my audience. After that I will probably start of talking first giving the back ground information of ASU Comedy Club. After that I will include a comic that is a regular to open up with a joke. Interview the comic and ask some questions about the events and also some things that keep them doing the shows. After that I will explain the fan base and audience average of the events. Then after interview some audience members to get their takes on the events. It is important to get nonbiased members for best results. It will just flow chronological order. The story line is just about the events an trying to get people to attend the events for a fun night filled with laughter. I will be the main speaker when it comes to narrating the podcast.  Furthermore just try to settle and get my point across to the listeners. Use a lot of humor to go along with topic. Make my listeners laugh to keep the interested and always wanting to hear more. Jokes will have to be short due to the amount of time given on the project.

WP 2 Reflection Blog

Writing Project two was a very interesting detailed oriented project. Research was plentiful and the work beyond just an idea came about. The things I liked about it would first be making a map for the first time in a blog. Next would have to be getting to pick the particular places and doing research on the venues. Also being an out of state student my family tends to visit occasionally and always ask what there is to do in the desert. Now knowing how to do a map, I can make a map for my family or just tell them to look on Yelp. There was not much do dislike about this project. The only con would have to be stressing on how to put the map in the blog. The challenges on the project would have to be being unbiased about certain venues. Like don’t like one or have more information for one rather than the others because of favoritism. Insights would have to be that each one of these venues has a story with every one of them being different. Not giving up they pushed to have their dreams met and fulfilled. Nothing was going to stop them, not even the doubters. Also just by one specific recipe or as I say banger these chains are successful throughout America. Furthermore that each of them took the concept of chicken and expanded it into million dollar companies by just putting a twist on chicken. All in all I had a fun time with this project and it has not only helpe me out in this class, but also the future as well.

Blog 10

When it comes to the reading and WP 2 there are many similarities and differences. The whole point of writing this project was to make a map and basically a review of many different places throughout the city of Tempe. Furthermore choosing a topic was not that difficult but a relatively new and entertaining subject to readers was a key point. There also comes in a factor of what is around and the varieties. Chicken is spread out a lot through Tempe with a high variety of many different places. Every where you look there are all kinds of chicken joints throughout. Each varying in taste, customer service, and price. Popularity also plays a key role in the choosing of the particular chain. When it came to this aspect many factors played into the part of the best one. Many college students are trying to save money so obviously price pays a major factor when it comes to the place. Learning about how different corporations arose and their stories is somewhat interesting. The reason for interest would have to do with the possibility of not only liking the new place but getting a sense of knowledge of the company.

Research Ideas Blog

They are many food places around campus to eat with a variety selection of type of food. Burgers, burritos, chinese, indian, and so forth. On this map the food is which chicken tenders place is the best around campus. There many different places such as Raising Canes, Lo Lo's Chicken and Waffles, KFC,  and Buffalo Wings. Each have their own unigue way of making them and the banger that makes people coming back. However since there is so many places to eat, evidently one has to be superior to the others. What makes a person choose one over another would be price, the quality, reviews/ opinions from other people, the location is key, and how the chicken is made; breaded or non-breaded for example. At these different locations there are different types of things you can get at each and some are limited to their specialty. Depending on what your tastebuds tell you what they want, then you will decide which chain you will pick.

Yelp Blog

When it comes to Yelp the main reason for the website is to provide reviews to society on what restaurants and such have the best reviews. The reviews on Yelp can be concluded that most of them are based on people’s opinions, rather than facts. Also many individuals are biased when it comes to the specific theatre or even place to eat. However the website is very helpful for people who are visiting a state or country, not having an idea what good places there are. How people decide which vendor is better depends on the number of stars the vendor has. The more stars means the top, recommended vendor to go too; low number of stars means low quality. At first glances looking at the reviews the ones with the most reviews are primarily at the top of the page and the less stars follow. For example Connor M explains how he thinks about Vista Del Sol: “These apartments are vastly overpriced for their cheap build quality, constantly require maintenance from a management team that doesn't know what they are doing.” He gave the review a one star which is very low. Living at Vista right now being unbiased yes the apartments can be costly, but the amenities and what comes with apartment the price is up to point and the management is awesome.  Most of the people that do the reviews and are negative ones have had bad experiences with the vendor becoming biased about their like for the vendor. However most of the reviews are valid and give great tips, comments. Plus Yelp can also help out with finding directions if needed as well. Say if you come to Phoenix, Arizona looking for a place to eat wings you just look on Yelp and Atl Wings will pop up. Court S stated that Atl Wings was “I'd be shocked if there was a better wing place in AZ. The wings are out of this world. So are the honey biscuits. The prices are good too. Yes, there is a wait for your food. But I have no problem waiting for food prepared only AFTER I've ordered it. The honey habanero are the best. So is the garlic parmesan. You can tell they actually make their own sauces and don't just pour a bottle of who knows what on the wings. This place is worth the money and the wait. Seriously, you won't be disappointed.” That are some ideas Yelp can give viewers or people being curious of what is around.

In WP2 I would use some of the idea Yelp uses as in reviews but I will also include an excellent pro with a con that tries to triumph my place. Using a map with also be helpful so that the people looking the particular vendor can find the location. Also just by using a lot of research and opinions unbiased by the people I can get the best results.

Blog response for "Brick"

To be honest I never even heard or even knew that this movie “Brick” existed. However reading your evaluation and summary of the movie I can get a crystal clear visual on what the whole movie portrays. The movie seems interesting with a lot of drama and excitement. Being fond of movies that involve mystery and investigation I probably will check out this movie one day. I liked how you involved the major details of what goes on for people like me who have never heard of the movie. Also on how all the characters involved in the movie fit well together. You then explain the genre of the movie, which is a mystery plus dramatic with a hint of comedy. The picture does justice as well to capture the main character as how he looks like a nerdy kid, but now is ripping teeth out to find out who killed his lover. The movie seems like the type that just wants the viewers to be on their toes wondering what comes next. All in all the blog of the “Brick” was amusing and enjoyable to read, the movie seemed interesting. Plus you had many key components on what you thought were important for the reader.

Blog Response for Azalea's "Mean Girls" blog

It is very comical that you picked “Mean Girls” and watched it on National “Mean Girls” Day. Even though the movie is a little girly, I have sisters and have watched the movie many times. No matter how girly the movie seems, I agree that the movie is very popular; like who has not seen the movie.  The reason I believe that the movie became popular is that because it is funny with a lot of exaggeration throughout being non-popular to achieving the goal of popularity. In high school no matter what, everyone is trying to be well known, knowing everybody with everybody knowing them.  This movie also has a lot of stereotyping in which you start off school as a complete stranger meeting friends, and then lose some friend relationships. Plus your closest friends talking mess about you behind your back. In high school there were always lies and fake rumors, which were over exaggerated in the movie. I don’t relate to this movie, but I know many girls from my high school that can relate to mean girls, which is why the movie is comedy. All in all I liked how you summarized the movie with the important aspects of the movie for people who haven’t seen the movie can understand why the movie is so popular.

South Park "Sarcastaball"

South Park is by far one of my favorite animation shows besides The Simpsons and Family Guy. During this week however I watched this episode of South Park called Sarcastball. What happens during it is that Stan's dad Randy gets upset that the school won't let the kids have kickoff and kick return while playing football because of the high risks of concussions. What this symbolizes is how the NFL and its commissioner has put a big emphasis on the concerns and safety to prevent concussions. So Randy goes to the school parent meeting to talk about the football rules and being like his sarcastic self, states that the kids should play football with bra's on, tin hats for helmets, play with a balloon, and be nice with a lot of hugging. Not knowing that he is being sarcastic the school goes with his idea. As the show goes on the new football Sarcastaball becomes a hit and influences the NFL. Randy becomes the head coach of the Denver Broncos. There is also a part in the show when the referees mess up on a call, making fun of the referees that were the replacements for the NFL. Then Butters being the nicest individual out of all of the children becomes the star athlete of Sarcastaball. There are many other things that happened throughout the show, but are not appropriate for this particular assignment.

When it comes to South Park many people are not fond of it. However when it comes to this animation show, the directors always try to keep the events up to date and make fun of what is happening in society. What this does is that since they include particular events in the show that are fresh in the minds of people, more people will know what they are talking about. The show goes overboard a little bit, but having the directors change how they approach the show would completely change the credit and popularity of the show. I think that the show will always be around because the episodes are funny and are up to date. In this particular show I liked how they incorporated in how the NFL is taking serious precautions for concussions with also the replacement refs in the show to show how bad their calls were in real life. This episode was a hit and put their point across in which what they were trying to prove. The author shouldn't have changed anything throughout this episode because everything flowed with what was going on. If someone is looking for back to back comedies I would recommend watching South Park on Wednesdays followed by another comical show Key and Peele.

Writing Project 1 Starbucks

Every time I walk into the north side of the MU the Starbucks line is always full to capacity. The space around the area is tiny, barely enough room to stand, to order or even receive your order. The long lines suck, however conversations start easily because of impatience a long with anxiety. No matter the time of the day Starbucks is always busy. Observing the workers, they are just doing repetitions making hundreds of the same drinks daily. They seem happy and kind, but deep down they have become bored. Why do my peers or even professionals like/ love Starbucks so much? When buying the merchandise, students either us M& G or cash/ credit card.  Not being the coffee kind of person, I just don’t understand how my peers can go to Starbucks every day. Is it because it is on the go, getting their drinks at a rapid rate; maybe they woke up late leaving no time to eat breakfast or make their own coffee. After someone orders and gives their name, so the clerk can write it on the cup. People get too anxious when the clerk is about to call out someone’s name hoping it is them. When it comes to this specific Starbucks patience is the key.  There are three other Starbucks on campus but somehow this one is always packed to the capacity. I would hope for the Starbucks to reconstruct its self but it would change the whole atmosphere of how the company is established. Although the Starbucks in the MU is basically what I described, there is much more to the space than what initially meets the eye.
In my experience the Starbucks north of the MU is always cramped with the lines being longer than the Nile River. Some people having no patience whatsoever always complaining about the wait of service. While being in line I can see who the normal Starbucks customers and which ones barely come, the ones that aren't normal buyers stay at the menu becoming over decisive. I am not very fond of coffee, but Starbucks does have a great variety of Danishes. Standing in these long lines you get to meet a lot of new people or here peoples’ sob stories. During my experience I wanted about ten minutes to get to the register. Looking around there are always people with their electronics either studying or just surfing the web. The reason for long lines and compacted areas could be in part to the popularity of Starbucks or it can coincide to the kind of “follow the leader aspect” Frank Norris explains. Furthermore as society loves Starbucks and picks it over many other top coffee chains, some people might like different other coffee shops but choose to be the same staying with just Starbucks. So many times people don’t like to be different than the majority of society because they would be considered to be weird. Not being biased Starbucks is great and college kids are supposed to be managing their money but either society is in love with Starbucks or maybe it is just trending. It could be due to some people not giving themselves enough time to get up to make their own coffee or eat breakfast rather they just go to Starbucks to have them make it for them. Caffeine does help with tiredness but having enough sleep can also play a factor into this. Many students don’t get their eight hours of sleep that they need, some stay up longer to study and what not.  The way society is can be due to part of someone getting the attention of individuals and becoming a unity to apply the same expectations of getting coffee from Starbucks. If you walk into Dunkin’ Donuts it won’t be as packed as Starbucks due to the fact that its popularity isn’t as high. Also some coffee shops even copied some of the drinks that many of them have as for example Pumpkin Spice. Also Starbucks has a big variety of iced coffees and others followed. Also celebrities can also play a big part because most drink Starbucks. For example there are four Starbucks located on campus with only one Dunkin’ Donuts located close to campus. It can also be due to that the coffee differs from one another even though coffee somewhat comes from the same plants. Society plays a major part in why many people choose to get their coffee from Starbucks than other places; somewhat like how McDonalds has separated itself from the fast food industry.
Frank Norris also talks about the repetitiveness of Polk Street and that can relate fairly well to the Starbucks in the MU. Many of the workers are students making extra money for college, even just people working to put food on the table. However what they do it is always a repetitive, accomplishing the same normal tasks everyday. It gets boring sometimes as you can tell from their body language, but they keep a smile on to hide the boredom of the job. Doing the same things everyday can get a bit boring, causing interests to be less than what they started. That is like every job in America most people working from eight to five. But instead of stressing and complaining about their job, some people make their job fun for themselves along with others. If the employees of Starbucks didn't look pleased or happy, then the service would be shallow compared to full. Also the moods from the employee can help change a bad for a customer to a splendid day. Customers, peers, sometimes go to Starbucks every chance they can get to get the must needed coffee essentials. Doesn't matter the time, they just repeat and get the same drink time after time. Norris tries to imply that society has the same tasks individuals performs everyday. You can look out the window the same time for three weeks and will always see the same thing you have seen for the past three weeks. This ties into Starbucks because even though it might be different people and what not the same long lines with the same ordering happens everyday. There will always be tons of people, people on their electronics doing the same thing not changing up their tactical.

Brief Summary of WP 1

When it came to Writing Project 1, I wrote about the Starbucks inside the MU. The reason why I chose this location is because no matter what the lines are usually full. I was just trying to guess why and find the reason for many people going. And after doing this observation through the lens, I can now see the main reasons people go. In college students hardly get enough sleep with studying in all and most not having coffee makers, they need coffee on the go so they head to Starbucks. By using the lens of Frank Norris, "Polk Street," I saw that society also plays a major part in going to Starbucks. They are many other coffee shops but since most of society likes Starbucks, most people would go there to just fit in. Walking around you hardly notice peoples having Dunkin’ Donuts or Dutch Bro’s rather they are holding the one and only Starbucks in their hands. Starbucks is just a powerhouse thanks to society. Another thing I found was the repetitiveness of customers and the workers. My peers would go to Starbucks every day ordering the same thing every time. When it comes to the workers, they make the same drinks non-stop, plus have to be fast paced. All in all I got a new observation of why the Starbucks is so packed compared to other coffee shops. Not only am I not a coffee guru, but noticing something that society has influenced is quite amazing to begin with. Finally, since the MU is the place where the food is, it might just be a coincidence why this Starbucks is the busiest.

Response 2 Daniela B-L

First of all I would like to say you introduction is eye catching. The details of the scenery of BHC is descriptive, making the reader visualize being at the scene.  It is very clear that your paper is about the lens of Frank Norris, Polk Street. Your ideas shifted from what the man looking in the mirror would see BHC Lawn and then circulated it into your thoughts of the lawn. It was very interesting as how you explain that you just seen BHC as a place where people just come and go, not worrying about more than meets the eye. Using the lens of Polk Street I can fully see what you are trying to portray throughout the paper, starting from dusk to dawn.  Your essay also flows very well. I would just say to add a little more detail of your lens of how you see the lawn, but overall great rough draft!

Response 1

Good job on your use of imaginary and use of the lenses of the two readings. However you should add more details of the pool in your intro so the readers can get a sense of the scenery. Maybe include the details of the pool in earlier paragraphs rather than waiting  towards to the end. There is a lot of observation in the paper rather what the assignment. The last paragraph should be your third paragraph rather then the conclusion.Try to be more depth when involving the lenses, think outside of the box. Try to get the readers attention, by seeing something they wouldn't think of Good examples though when using the lenses of Frank Norris and Mesa Trail. Overall just proofread your paper and try to put it in chronological order so it flows nicely. But nice job on your paper.

Starbucks MU Organic

Joining the Conversation

Polk Street

McTeague is sitting at a window still that he begins to look out the window observing Polk Street. As time varies from sun rising to sun down, many activities happen from low to high praises. McTeague knows what exactly is going to happen at the exact times. As the kids go to school and people are at work the town is dry but as soon as eleven o clock hits the handsome ladies come to Polk Street and it turns alive with a lot of activity. Many people go inside when it is suppertime.

The lens out of this would be that society selects exact times of when to do tasks. Also that everyday life can sometimes be repetitive. Meaning that people wake up the same time and do everything they do every exact day. Why do people eat at different times and take lunch at nearly the same time? Society influences a lot of things we do in life. If people do things different they would be considered weird or unjust. Looking at this just doing the same objectives every single day, people can tend to get real bored at things. What happens with being bored in lost of interest in their workforce and stress.

Following is throughout society today. When someone becomes a leader or stands for their rights then it becomes weird to normal peers. Just

Mesa Trail

Mesa Trails is a trail that was meant to be traveled on horseback and the jigging coyote trot that only western bred horses learn successfully. It also takes many days to journey to give a note of the variety to the country of the social scrubs. From saddling on a horse you can see the beauty of the trail. At night you can hear the calling of the owl from late slant night. The mesa is warped in the brush leaps.

The trails are a place where to ride your horse with a way to check out the beauty of nature. The lens would be going in different directions as in North, South, East, and West you will be able to see many different portions of nature.  What this does is as you go to the various directions, the nature of the trail changes drastically. He then explains the main nature aspects of each, specifying the top characteristics of the plants and lilies.

Digging deeper the more so lens of the story would be that the nature of the trail varies from place to place and left to right. What this makes happen would be the author trying to get the point across about the different colors and plants regarding the location. Makes you think about how come this plant survives over here but not on the other side. Many plants and what not just don't fully absorb or even contain a common ancestor to achieve the close descendants.

All in all the trail could relate to like different parts of a city. What this means is that on one side of the city people could talk a certain way, but then on the other side there could a totally different language. Maybe there are different stores around that wouldn't be in a normal vicinity. Malls could be very different, for example Tempe Marketplace and Fashion Square.

Two views Mississippi

In  this reading Twain talks about how he once mastered the Mississippi River becoming familiar with the beauty and features of the water. He then became to lose memories he had of the appearances of the once beloved river. The river has totally lost all of its beauty. Twain is fairly unhappy about how once a beautified place turned into now an ordinary river becoming unnoticeable.

When you remember a place that you will never forget, there will always be a descriptive feature that won't lose memory. However if nature or mankind disrupts the beauty of the once favorite place is now scorched with hatred and disgust. Twain goes into detail on the subject of when steamboats would go through the river, but now there are trees sticking out of the water with the water decreasing. This portrays the aspect of how mankind has destroyed a beauty that Twain was very proud of.

Furthermore the two views of the reading would be the past and now the present. Also the views could be beauty vs disgust. Looking deeper into the lens you get the aspect of how he portrays that instead of mankind improving nature and its beauty we are destroying it. The river was once a place where people would go to have picnics, now the river hardly gets any attention.

Two Views Mississippi has nature vs mankind issues. Also there are problems between the beauty and disgust as in this place was glamorous with a lot of buzz. Now it is a place where you only go when you pass by or see it on a plane.

Homework 2

When it comes to analysis many things occur. As you analyze topics they are more than just an opinion.  Looking and having key resources is a key but in all reality you are just trying to help out the reader have a full understanding the whole fundamentals of the subject being explained. A key aspect of the analysis part would be for the writer to take up the role of the interpreter.  What this makes happen is for a clueless reader to understand the subject and become an understanding reader. Furthermore questions would be asked making the readers thing inside the box, fulfilling what the interpreter is there for to make and explain so that the reader thinks outside of the box.

Analysis always begins with a question that the writer wants to truly make the reader think about. This is when the main role of the interpreter comes into effect. "Analysis involves adopting the role of interpreter. Writers who adopt this role help readers understand the origins, qualities, significance, or potential impact of a subject" (p. 210)  The origins of the subject would have to relate the beginning of it when its existence came into place. As it moves on to qualities and significance the interpreter influences the reader’s knowledge upon what the main thing that the reader needs to fully understand.
